We’re so excited to announce the first event of Social Study, AIGA New Orleans' new professional development series! On Thursday, July 26, we’ll meet at The Cannery for a crash course on H-UV Printing. Join us to tour the press, check out UV printing samples, and enjoy drinks and snacks with fellow AIGA members.

Attendees will leave with a commemorative poster printed by Pel Hughes with H-UV inks. Free parking is available in the lot next door. See you there!

What is H-UV printing? 

During this crash course, AIGA members will learn about H-UV (Hybrid UV ) printing and inks.
Instead of having solvents in the ink that evaporate into the air and absorb into the paper, H-UV inks instantly dry on press when they are exposed to an ultraviolet light. This results in less chemicals in the environment and on the final printed product. Due to its rapidly drying print process, H-UV printing produces vivid colors and details.
