Creative Grind is a meeting time for designers, artists, writers, and makers of all variety to help each other.
It provides a sounding board for your ideas and projects, as well as a time to build relationships with like minded people and be exposed to new projects in NOLA. Since a lot of folks work alone or in small groups, this is a time to get and give feedback. Think of it as a review session with new coworkers. Your dog, cat, wall can only help you so much.
This is the first of several meetups we hope to host moving forward. Don't forget to leave us feedback or send us a followup afterwards!
TIPS for presenting work //
While having your project on a laptop is probably the easiest method to show off, tangible items and prototypes are welcome too. Just remember that we do have a limited amount of space in the back of Rook Cafe so if you're a maker of large things, it might be best to used pictures.
